Peter Malcolm, BA FCIPD,
Peter brings his expertise across all areas of HR to GCConsultants.
He specialises in Business Re-engineering, Employee Relations and Employment Law.
In the past he has been HR Director for an engineering business with a turnover of £250m. As part of his responsibilities, Peter has directed a number of TUPE transfers beginning with due diligence, and continuing on through implementation and post TUPE culture blending and change management.
Additionally, Peter has managed a number of business wide HR projects, including the installation and commissioning of HR computerised management and storage systems, Health and Safety Initiatives across operational sites and support locations , and the design and implementation of performance monitoring and reward systems.
He has represented his businesses on a variety of national and local bodies and has been asked on many occasions to contribute to government sponsored review bodies seeking to identify best practice in his field.
Peter has been, and still is, a visiting lecturer in several higher educational establishments, giving his expertise to a variety of undergraduate and post graduate programmes.
Peter is a keen golfer, a passion he shares with Gordon, and he says that having broken a hundred on the course, he has his sights on the seniors tour – well, a man needs a dream doesn’t he??
